Purple corn was once a sacred crop to the ancient Incan civilizations. Purple Corn has been cultivated in South America for thousands of years. It was found in different ceramic objects of culture dating back over 2,500 years. Purple Corn expresses one of the deepest purple shades found in the plant kingdom, this vibrant purple hue being indicative of the kind of antioxidants it contains – anthocyanins. These powerful compounds make Purple Corn a superfood with various health benefits

We are the first successful Purple Corn growers in India on a commercial scale. We at PLS (Purple Life Sciences) with a lot of patience, hard work, and multiple failures have figured out a way to grow purple corn in India without losing its properties and color. In fact, we were able to improve the size and quality of the yield significantly. Since 2016 we kept improving, meticulously cultivating by hand, year after year.
